Fuel up your mornings – Fruity Oats Smoothie!

Ever heard people saying they lost weight by skipping breakfast? You know what else did they lose along? Metabolism. Yes.

A lot of us come across this term every now and then but guess what? Most of us have zero idea what it means or what it does to human body. In simplest words, metabolism is a process that maintains life in living beans. It results in growth, energy production and waste elimination.

Research shows that skipping breakfast also increases risk of obesity in the long run and can also lead to fluctuations in blood sugar level simultaneously increasing stress levels. Hence, skipping your first meal is a big NO NO!

‘Breakfast’ quite literally means 'breaking your fast.' After long hours of sleeping, one needs to refuel their energy by a healthy meal every morning. Ideally, breakfast should be packed with high protein, carbs and good fat.

Most common reason found in why people skip breakfast is that they are not hungry first thing in the morning. We bring you a solution to that. Start your day with this light, yummy, yet very healthy smoothie to maintain healthy levels of blood sugar and energy. It will keep you fueled up and give you that filling sensation until its lunch time -

1/3 cup no fate plain Greek yoghurt

This is the recipe we stick to. But feel free to experiment like add ice if milk is not chilled enough. One can add honey if need be. Fruits like papaya or banana can replace Apple.
